Hello, I’m Sarah Payne — quilting teacher, designer, and fabric fanatic with a head full of ideas and a heart full of thread!

I’ve been crafting since I was a tiddler, but in 2011 I finally swapped a well-paid but soul-sapping career in IT for the creative life I’d always dreamed of. I haven’t looked back since!

It all began with a lively little fabric shop and training centre I opened with a friend here in the UK. From there, I became a regular contributor to top quilting magazines and even launched my own range of quilting kits with the international Sew Easy brand.

I’ve demonstrated quick and clever quilting techniques live on stage at the NEC in Birmingham, and I continue to teach workshops and courses across the UK — wherever I’m invited! My passion is to get you quilting, whether you're brand new or have been sewing for years.

My approach is simple: make it fun, make it friendly, and make it achievable. I love nothing more than helping people gain confidence with a needle and thread. I’ve got a bag full of tricks, tips, and encouragement, and I’m always ready to share them!
